The songs were B-sides from the "Sounds of The Sixteenth Dungeon" session. "Blutgier" is dedicated in memorial to Lemmy Kilmister; "Knight (The Hargettian Fire)" was originally recorded for an ill-fated project between Jonathan Alexander and one of his ex-girlfriends, but decided to re-record the song almost a decade later; "Much Closer" and "The Sound of Death" is dedicated to Jonathan's ex-fiancee; "To Forget The Past" is an instrumental dedicated to all the goth metal/rock bands that have influenced Jonathan over the years.
